About
I am an archaeologist and cultural heritage manager, with a particular interest in the musealisation of archaeological sites for educational and tourism purposes.
I hold a degree in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Management from Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), in Maputo City, Mozambique. I also have a qualification in Hospitality and Tourism, specialising in Tourist Guiding, from the Commercial Institute of Maputo (ICM).
I have worked on various projects, such as the creation of the Chongoene and Xai-Xai Archaeological Park, the establishment of the Cultural Market for Handicrafts, Seafood and Ecosystem Services, and the Slave Wrecks Project (SWP).
Currently, I am a primary education teacher and a junior researcher affiliated with the Museum of Archaeology at UEM.
